Creating her ideal dream home was more than just a project for Donna Stavropoulos, it was a passion that became a dream come true.

Originall the local council told Donna Stavropoulos that the Californian bungalow on her beautifully located property in a southern suburb of Sydney had a heritage listing. Not being able to remove the original building, she had plans drawn up to include it in a new dwelling.

However, just as work had started the council called to say that it was not in fact heritage listed so she could knock the house down. Donna did so immediately and started again.
